Wizards of the Coast and Playdek current the award-winning Dungeons Dragons board sport Lords of Waterdeep!
Welcome to Waterdeep, the City of Splendors! A metropolis run by a secret society of masked Lords who rule with shady back-door dealings and unmatched political power. In Lords of Waterdeep players will play as certainly one of these masked Lords and will need to recruit adventurers to exit and complete quests for them. The more quests they complete, the more management and affect they've over the town.
Players can expand the town by purchasing buildings that can open up new alternatives within the metropolis walls. Intrigue playing cards can be used to assist the player and may either help or hinder their fellow Lords in their quest to become the supreme ruler of Waterdeep!
Lords of Waterdeep is a turn-based technique sport played in 8 rounds and could be performed against AI or with up to 5 human gamers. Players take turns assigning their brokers to do their bidding, whether it is to recruit new adventurers to their tavern or buy a brand new building for the town. Points and assets are gained by completing quests, taking part in Intrigue cards, developing new buildings or having other gamers make the most of the buildings you have constructed. At the tip of the 8 rounds bonus factors are awarded and the participant with probably the most points at the finish wins the sport.
