Muhammad Siddiq Al-Minshawi (1919-1969) was one of the pioneers of recitation. He was distinguished by a distinguished and sad style of his recitation. Sheikh Muhammad was born in the village of Al-Bouarik, in the city of Al-Manshah in the Sohag Governorate in the Arab Republic of Egypt, 1 and completed the memorization of the Noble Qur’an at the age of eight. He grew up in an ancient Quranic family, so his father, Sheikh Siddiq Al-Minshawi, was the one who taught him the art of reciting the Noble Qur’an, and his father, the great Sheikh Siddiq Al-Minshawi, set up this beautiful and unique ancient school in itself, and we can call it (The Minshawi School). It became one of the flags of the servants of the Qur’an. Sheikh Muhammad derived much from that school that was the reason for his success after his humble voice, and Sheikh Muhammad Siddiq al-Minshawi was called the crying voice.

The late imam of the preachers, Sheikh Muhammad Metwally Al-Shaarawi, said of him: “He and his four companions are reciter; Others board a boat and sail in the sea of ​​the Noble Qur’an, and this boat will not stop sailing until God - the Almighty - inherits the earth and those on it. ”

His reputation became well known and received a good acceptance of the sweetness of his voice, beauty and exclusivity of that, in addition to his mastery of the places of reading , And his deep emotion of Quranic meanings and expressions. Sheikh Al-Minshawi has a complete recording of the Holy Qur’an recited, and he also has many recordings in Al-Aqsa Mosque, Kuwait, Syria and Libya. He also recorded a Qur’anic seal on the Egyptian radio, and he also has a joint reading of Al-Douri’s novel with the reciters Kamel Al-Bahtimi and Fouad Al-Arousi. Muhammad Siddiq Al-Minshawi is considered one of the most famous reciters in the Islamic world.
