For installation on Android tablets (Android 5 and above), the NetSupport School Student for Android offers teachers the power to connect with every pupil device in a NetSupport School managed classroom (NetSupport School Tutor application required), enabling actual-time interaction and help.
Key options:
- Student Register: The trainer can request normal and/or customized data from each student at the start of each class and create an in depth register from the information offered.
- Connecting to Students: The instructor can either browse for student tablets (from their desktop software) or allow students to attach directly to the relevant class from their Android system.
- Lesson Objectives: If provided by the instructor, as soon as connected, students are presented with details of the present lesson, together with overall aims and their expected studying outcomes.
- View Student Screens: View a real-time thumbnail of all related scholar tablets from the teacher machine. Zoom in to view a bigger thumbnail of any chosen pupil.
- Watch Mode: The instructor can discreetly view the screen of any linked scholar tablet.
- Sending Messages: The instructor can broadcast messages to at least one, selected, or all tablet gadgets.
- Chat: Both the student and the instructor can initiate a Chat session and participate in group discussions.
- Requesting Help: Students can discreetly alert the trainer when they require assistance.
- Class Surveys: Teachers can conduct on-the-fly surveys to gauge scholar knowledge and understanding. Students are in a position to respond in real-time to the survey questions posed and the trainer can then present outcomes to the whole class.
- Question and Answer Module: Enables the instructor to conduct prompt pupil and peer evaluation. Deliver questions verbally to the class, then choose students to answer – randomly, first to reply or in groups.
