My children's radio

My children's radio went "on air" on July 28, 2014 in Vienna on radio frequency 103.2. The aim is to create an appealing program for children from 2 to 10 years of age, whereby parents and grandparents are of course very welcome as listeners.

The streaming app is now to be the first and currently only children's radio in Austria throughout Make Austria accessible.

The Mein Kinderradio APP is probably the simplest APP in the store and should also enable small children to use it. Simply press the play button and the listening pleasure begins.

About the program:

Between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm there is a radio program specially tailored to children with a colorful mix of children's songs, short stories and Audiobooks and own children's radio news.

The program is moderated by the cheeky radio dinosaur RADINO, although he is of course actively supported by the whole family.

From 8 p.m. there is a relaxation zone for parents - Exactly the right program for mom and dad and to lean back and relax,

About the project:

My children's radio was launched in 2011 as part of a project at the Martin Luther University in Halle / Wittenberg (Deu Czech Republic) invented. Four enthusiastic radio operators and fathers have been working on this radio with a lot of dedication, passion and a tight budget. At this point, we (Peter, Andi, Franz and Thomas) would like to say a very big thank you to all those who have previously provided their services for free or for a small pocket money.

Our philosophy

MEINKINDERRADIO is the first Austrian radio that is only produced for children and parents, in Vienna - for Vienna and via the Internet for all of Austria.

MEINKINDERRADIO is the first personal radio that almost Public – law mandate follows with the declared aim of offering an educationally valuable listening experience for children.

MEINKINDERADIO voluntarily refrains from broadcasting classic spots and lengthy commercials in order not to expose the young listeners to a flood of advertising. The project is financed through advertising partners who support the program by means of patronage and thus use it for advertising in a gentle way. The makers of MEINKINDERRADIO are parents themselves and are very aware of the special responsibility of such a radio offer for children.
