Through this mobile application, the family doctor has access to the protocol of action in different situations of vital emergencies that, sporadically, are usually found in the health center. To do this, the system proposes a series of interrelated algorithms, practical texts, still images and videos that guide the clinician during the intervention on the patient. In just one minute the doctor can review each step before executing the action.

This application describes the following vital emergencies: cardiorespiratory arrest, arrhythmias, acute lung edema, acute coronary syndrome, severe allergic reaction , respiratory failure, stroke, coma, hypoglycemia, seizures, poisoning, agitation and multiple trauma. In addition to adding the basic pharmacopoeia, the different typical procedures of these emergencies are detailed: cricothyroidotomy, defibrillation, intubation, transcutaneous pacemaker, oxygen therapy and thoracostomy.

Vital Emergencies: clinical decisions for the family doctor has been developed and tested by primary care physicians and allows maximum agility and balance in decision-making.
